Our company

We are Kalsnava Distillery, the bulk organic grain neutral alcohol and denatured ethanol manufacturer. Our ethanol alcohol production plant was founded in 1937. Within more than 80 years of our history, we have developed from a small regional ethanol supplier into the EU certified modern organic alcohol company. The plant was globally renovated in the period of 2007 – 2014.

Starting from 2010, in just 10 years, in Baltic countries we became a reliable supplier of food-grade neutral alcohol. In 2020, the company got ECHA REACH and BIOCIDE Article 95 registrations for denatured ethanol and biocide ethanol. Our customers are strong drinks bottling companies, bulk alcohol distributors, also cosmetics, and pharmaceutical companies. Now we expand our sales in Western European countries.

Our products

Ethanol (BIOCIDE)

This product is specially certified as an active disinfectant substance. It complies with the EU Regular Nr. 528/2012 (BIOCID). Our company listed in ECHA Article 95 list as the registered active substance supplier of Ethanol (EC: 200-578-6). The specification fully matches our conventional alcohol records and guarantees the outstanding quality of ready products – hand and surface disinfectants.

Denatured in accordance with the EU formula: IPA+MEK+ Denatonium Benzoate.

Undenatured. Intended for the denaturation with other selected components at the customer’s side.

Ethanol (REACH)

This product is specially certified as an active chemical substance. It complies with the EU Regular Nr. 1907/2006 (REACH). Our company listed as the registered supplier of Ethanol (EC: 200-578-6). The specification fully matches our conventional alcohol records and guarantees the outstanding quality of the ready products – cosmetics and chemicals.

Denatured in accordance with the EU formula: IPA+MEK+Denatonium Benzoate.

Undenatured. Intended for the denaturation with other selected components at the customer’s side.
